Dance/Movement Therapy

What is Dance/Movement Therapy? Dance/Movement Therapy is a form of expressive therapy that focuses on helping individuals communicate and express their inner thoughts and emotions through the body, dance, and various forms of movement. This process supports holistic balance across emotional, cognitive, physical, social, and spiritual dimensions.

Dance/Movement Therapy Group

This is a group-based activity that incorporates games and different types of body movement to help participants become more aware of and connected to their own bodies. It also fosters a sense of belonging and reduces feelings of isolation. Participants are invited to share their feelings and personal experiences, which then become the driving force of the group process. These shared experiences are later expressed through dance and movement, often accompanied by familiar music, allowing space for creative expression.
